Stock Research Engine

idea

Stock research that checks all the tabs for you. Earnings calls, Reddit chatter, options flow, insider buys, congressional trades, foreign media.

What

A research tool that aggregates what retail traders normally spread across a dozen tabs and subscriptions. Earnings transcripts, SEC filings, analyst notes on one side. Reddit sentiment, Twitter/X chatter, unusual options activity, insider trading, and congressional disclosures on the other. For ADRs, it also pulls from Chinese-language financial media that most English-speaking traders never see.

When a bunch of unrelated data points line up on the same ticker at the same time, it surfaces that so you can decide if it’s worth a closer look.

Why

Most tools cover one slice. Unusual Whales does options flow, Quiver Quantitative tracks congress, Sentire watches Reddit. Earnings call analysis lives in yet another app. Stitching the conventional and unconventional sides together and running momentum flip detection across all of them is the whole point.

Where it stands

Still in the thinking phase. Most data sources are accessible through free or cheap APIs. The harder parts are getting clean reads out of noisy social data and keeping false positives manageable.
